Why You Might Want To Opt in For Those Funky Socks at the Office

Oh corporate America! Still finding ways to suck the energy out of dedicated employees with your bland Grey walls and beige (possibly sulky Yellow) office desk areas; causing many to search for life somewhere within the compounded area, placing your head down in disappointment. Wait! Here’s an idea… why not radiating funky socks?

Work environments are changing. Some tech hubs now feature a wide range of botanical gardens all around the office, in hopes to amp up employee’s energy and hush the cries for, “thank God it’s Friday!” in hopes for, “looking forward to Monday!” on Sunday night. However, the efforts can only go so far and at such a slow rate, it’s up to you to jump in and meet your employer half way. Your attire is great start. How about we start from the bottom?

Taking that second to look down and see silly little prints, slowly making its way up from the crease of you pants will release an air of dopamine and you will feel elated. On top of that, it shows that you are willing to go the extra mile by putting in an effort on your appearance.

In terms of colors, well, that’s up to you. There’s a whole shelf and list of brands that do funky socks the best. Some of those are household brands such as Paul Smith, Penguin, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Happy Socks, and Official Funky Socks has a wide range to choose from. I personally like the warmer colors during the colder seasons and go with radiating cool colors during the spring and summer time. The benefits as well for opting for funky socks is the impact it has on those around you. Think about it. If a colleague where to see something as silly as chicken feet prints and they’re having a crappy day, you could be the highlight of their day.
